At adHOME Creative, the arts hold a special place in our hearts. We’re proud to support Silver Spotlight Theatre, a dynamic organization for thespians aged 50+ to bring exceptional performances to life. Through our sponsorship and creative collaboration, we’ve had the privilege of shaping their brand identity and creating standout designs for their productions.

From naming and logo design to program development and promotional materials, our work with Silver Spotlight Theatre is a testament to the power of partnership. Here’s a closer look at how we brought the stage to life, one creative step at a time.

Building the Silver Spotlight Brand

Every great story begins with a strong foundation. For Silver Spotlight Theatre, this meant crafting a memorable name, designing a sleek logo, and building a cohesive brand identity that would resonate with audiences and set the stage for their productions. The logo’s modern yet theatrical design captures the spirit of performance while standing out as a symbol of creativity and professionalism. Beyond the logo, we developed brand assets that extended seamlessly across merchandise, digital campaigns, and more, ensuring every audience touchpoint reflected the theatre’s innovative vision.

Shining a Spotlight on Babes in Arms

For the charming 1930s musical Babes in Arms, our design celebrated the golden age of musicals. The program balanced vintage aesthetics with functional storytelling, guiding the audience through the performance. We also created merchandise inspired by the timeless themes of resilience and optimism, giving performers a memorable keepsake of their experience. Our digital ads, tailored for social media and online platforms, helped drive excitement and ticket sales, ensuring the production reached the widest audience possible. The strategy worked, with this first Silver Spotlight production selling out in just a couple of weeks.

Getting Grease Lightning Ready

The second Silver Spotlight musical was the high school romance, Grease, providing a vibrant opportunity to dive into the rock-and-roll energy of the 1950s. Our unique creative approach captured the show’s spirit through dynamic poster and flyer designs that burst forward with bold colours and retro flair. The program showcased the performers in a nostalgic black and white yearbook style. Social media graphics were designed to be shareable and engaging, energizing the show’s online presence and extending its reach. This time, the show sold out in just a few days highlighting the overwhelming demand and success of the 50+ concept.

Wandering Into the Woods

On the heels of the success of the past two productions, Silver Spotlight tackled the challenging and critically acclaimed musical, Into the Woods. Embracing the darker, whimsical tone of the production, we created materials that reflected the magic and complexity of the fairy-tale inspired musical. The show’s program guided audiences through the interwoven stories visually represented by a leather bound storybook bringing to life the enchanting narrative. Through cohesive promotional campaigns spanning print and digital, we drew audiences into this mystical world and emphasized its must-see appeal.

Connecting Silver Spotlight to the Community

Our work with Silver Spotlight Theatre has been more than just creative execution—it’s a reflection of our commitment to supporting the arts and amplifying their impact within our community. By blending strategic design with artistic inspiration, we help organizations like Silver Spotlight Theatre connect with audiences and share the magic of live performance.

As Silver Spotlight Theatre’s story unfolds, the team at adHOME Creative looks forward to continuing our creative collaboration and celebrating the transformative power of the arts.
